Working principle:
Filling the drug powder or granules into the mold, and the rotating turntable drives the mold to pass through different working areas in turn. In the pressurizing area, the upper and lower punches are used to apply pressure to the material in the mold to form it into a tablet of a specific shape. Then, the formed tablet is pushed out of the mold to complete a tablet pressing cycle.
Structural composition:
1. Feeding system: responsible for accurately adding drug powder or granules to the mold. Usually includes components such as a feeding hopper and a feeder to ensure uniform supply of materials.
2. Turntable and mold: The turntable is one of the core components of the equipment, and multiple molds are installed on it. The quality and precision of the mold directly affect the molding quality of the tablet.
3. Pressurization system: It consists of upper and lower punches and a pressure regulating device. By adjusting the pressure, the hardness and thickness of the tablet can be controlled.
4. Tablet discharging system: Push the formed tablet out of the mold, usually by mechanical or airflow.
